Job description

You have been running other company’s projects well for years now. You know where the money leaks out of a project, you know which foreman needs a phone call before eight and which one needs to be left alone, and you have watched a company make decisions you would have made differently. Somewhere above you there is a layer of management that gets to make the call, and you are fairly sure you would make a better one.

This is the seat where you get to run the whole production side of a commercial roofing company, projects and service both, and you will own it. Not a piece of it. Not a region of it. All of it.

Who We Ar

eExecutive Roofing has been putting commercial and industrial roofs on buildings across New Jersey and the Tri-State area for years, and we are owned by two people who are super passionate about the industry and still work here every day. Jim runs sales and came up in hospitality, which is why we treat a building owner the way a luxury hotel treats their guests. Tina runs the company and comes from a corporate business background. Neither of them is going to pretend this place is more polished than it is, but it sure is on track to be

.
What we care about is people who take ownership, who show up all in, and who do the right thing when nobody is checking. We are a small enough shop that all three of those are visible within a week. We are also honest that we have been growing faster than our systems, which is exactly why this job posting exists and exactly what you would be walking int

o. What You Would

OwnJim has been running sales and production at the same time and has taken this company to six million dollars doing it. He cannot take it to ten. Your first job is to take production off his plate entirely so he can go sell, and your second job is to make production run better than he had time to make it run. This role will own the execution of our projects and service work from start to finish, supporting our production teams, while building out the systems and processes to make it function like a well oiled machi

The sub crews you want are not all lined up ready to go, the service team is a service manager and a few two-man crews and needs to be bigger, and the scheduling system is going to be whatever you build. Some people read that as a headache. If you read it as the reason to take the job and build out the systems and processes, we should t
