As a Production Manager - Aniline, you create chemistry by...
  • Establishing plant goals, objectives, and operational budgets to drive continuous improvement and remove implementation barriers. You will also lead a cross-functional team, will play a key role in recruitment and hiring of employees, ensure training needs are up-to-date, and track production objectives for success via KPIs/Metrics.
  • Providing technical and administrative goal setting and guidance to operations, maintenance, and other business areas. You will ensure the creation of short and long-term budgets, objectives, and plans for continuous improvement of your area.
  • Leading by example to foster a high-performing, trust-based work environment, while supporting union contract administration and creating a vision that fosters a sense of common ownership.
  • Driving strategic decisions for asset optimization and support of the maintenance process. You will also support the creation and execution of capital projects in alignment with the Asset Development Plan objectives.
  • Ensuring daily environmental and safety compliance, including Management of Change approvals and theincident investigation process ( investigation, root cause analysis, action items, documentation, and follow-up for incidents).
  • Participating in management of production-related budget accounts, and optimized fixed and variable manufacturing unit costs while delivering technical support for cost-effective operations. Your knowledge and understanding of occupational and process safety as well as quality management will be essential as you will be accountable for ensuring compliance with EHS requirements for the PSM/RMP plants as well as leading all EHS and Quality Audits within the cluster.
If you...
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Have 8+ years of experience working either in production or supporting production in Chemical, Petrochemical, Refinery or similar manufacturing environments.
  • Possess ideally 3+ years of experience supervising a team (Preferred: Production, maintenance, engineering, or projects unit/department with a minimum 15+ employees)
  • Proven successful track record of solving complex problems and risk management, as well asexceeding department/unit targets and strategic multi-year planning/development to achieve business goals.
  • A high level of knowledge with process safety and PSM/RMP covered facilities
