Qualifications

• BS degree in Production Management, Operations, or related field OR 6 to 8 years' experience in manufacturing, production, supply chain, or related area.
• Prior work experience with Lean Manufacturing processes.
• Proven work experience as a plant manager, or equivalent.
• Adequate knowledge of budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources.
• Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, inventory and stewardship processes.
• Computer literacy and ability to lead by example.

Education and Experience Requirements:

BS degree in Production Management, Operations, or related field OR 6 to 8 years' experience in manufacturing, production, supply chain, or related area.

Prior work experience with Lean Manufacturing processes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proven work experience as a plant manager, or equivalent
• Proven managerial experience
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
• Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
• Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes
• Computer literacy
• Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job the employee will work in a manufacturing facility and regularly be exposed to: Humidity, loud noises, dirt Varying temperatures Sheet Metal Forklift traffic Lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand comfortably for prolonged periods of time, as much as 95% of the workday. Climbing Stooping Ability for occasional travel as the job may require visiting customers and project sites.
