The Production Manager handles strategic activities and vision of a high functioning area in terms of performance and productivity. Develop and implements improvements in production methods. Participates in budget preparation for production expenses and capital investment requests. Administers company policies in assigned department.
BS degree in Production Management, Operations, or related field OR 6 to 8 years' experience in manufacturing, production, supply chain, or related area.
Prior work experience with Lean Manufacturing processes.
While performing the duties of this job the employee will work in a manufacturing facility and regularly be exposed to: Humidity, loud noises, dirt Varying temperatures Sheet Metal Forklift traffic Lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand comfortably for prolonged periods of time, as much as 95% of the workday. Climbing Stooping Ability for occasional travel as the job may require visiting customers and project sites.
