Great Plains Beef is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician to keep ground beef production, steak cutting, and meat processing lines running smoothly at our Lincoln facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform routine maintenance while coordinating with managers and external contractors.

The role requires a safety-first mindset and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and ensure product quality.

• Experience in maintenance with food production equipment (ground beef, steak cutting, cooked and cured meat, packaging).
• Strong problem-solving skills are required.
• Safety-first attitude and ability to work with others including managers and outside contractors.

The Production Maintenance Technician will work with a team to maintain all production equipment and minimize downtime. This will include working with equipment for ground beef production, steak cutting, cooked and cured meat processing, and packaging. The Production Maintenance Technician will include troubleshooting and completing repairs, completing routine maintenance, coordinating, and documenting work done by outside contractors and vendors, and installing new equipment.

This position will work in a variety of areas of maintenance, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electronics.

An ideal candidate would have some experience in maintenance with food production equipment. Strong problem-solving skills will be needed. A safety-first attitude and the ability to work with other employees, managers, and outside contractors is a must.

This position will primarily be Monday - Friday, but may require some weekend and evenings. Assume other duties as assigned.

1st Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm
