We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill our AutoStore Production Maintenance Technician opening. AutoStore is a cube-based, automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) that utilizes robots to retrieve and deliver bins of goods to operators.Successful candidates MUST have the facilities maintenance electrical experience described below and work the schedule of Monday - Friday, from 5:30am - 2:00pm.

Role and Responsibilities

• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance and as-needed operational repairs of the Company's equipment, machines, and building systems.
• Identifies and repairs mechanical or process faults within the ASRS/conveyor system, including the corresponding electrical, mechanical or PLC-related systems.
• Maintains constant mechanical reliability of the ASRS/conveyor system.
• Manages preventative maintenance, operational repair and accident prevention plans for the ASRS.
• Manages and ensures the availability of spare parts for the ASRS
• Interfaces with both internal and external customers to support ASRS maintenance while providing maintenance status updates.
• Maintains detailed records and prepares communications as needed
• Assists with facility repairs and maintenance as needed
• Partners and assists with safety compliance and OSHA standards
• Maintains and operates motorized and mobile equipment
• Coordinates contractors and laborers as needed
• Assists with training and troubleshooting of the ASRS as needed
• Responsible for complying with and maintaining ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
• May perform other duties as assigned

Education, Training and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associates degree in a related field, preferred
• 5 or more years of facilities maintenance and forklift operations experience
• 4 years or more of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• 3 year or more experience with ASRS systems, and/or electrical motors, conveyors, drives and PLC controls.
• Ability to utilize motorized moving equipment including; order picker, swing reach, scissor lifts, etc.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings/schematics
• Experienced with safety (OSHA) requirements
• Experience coordinating with outside vendors
• Experience with electrical/plumbing/construction
• Email and written messaging with intermediate Excel knowledge
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
• Proficient English abilities required
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with little to no supervision
