Job summary

Sysco Northeast Distribution Center is seeking a Production Technician II to support the operations team with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance across production equipment. The role emphasizes 5S and Lean initiatives, including material handling improvements and safety adherence.

The candidate should have 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, familiarity with mechanical/electrical systems, and the ability to work with OEM technicians during complex repairs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Food processing industry experience and familiarity with USDA, FDA, SQF policies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance on production and process utility equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic deficiencies.
• Log work orders accurately in CMMS and track maintenance metrics.
