Production Maintenance Mechanic (Mon-Fri, 2:30pm to 11pm)

Ideal Candidate: We are seeking someone with experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing environment who can troubleshoot machine issues effectively.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing installation, maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnosing failures and replacing defective components using standard tools and detailed documentation.
- Maintaining maintenance logs and using various hand, power, and test tools.
- Assisting in redesigning optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for existing equipment under supervision.
- Estimating labor and equipment costs and preparing requisitions.
Essential Duties:
- Conducting preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Reading technical manuals and schematics for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Performing electrical, mechanical, or machining work as needed.
- Assisting in the installation of new equipment.
- Inspecting equipment operations regularly.
- Installing new units or replacement parts according to safety standards.
- Maintaining data in computerized systems.
- Providing general building maintenance support.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED with 3-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent training.
- Vocational or technical training preferred.
- 0-2 years of related maintenance experience.
- Organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of cGMP procedures and familiarity with GMP, FDA, and regulatory guidelines is a plus.
- Experience with calibration and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Skills in maintaining computer database programs.
