What’s The Role
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for safely performing maintenance on production equipment within the facility. This includes preventative, reactive, routine, and non-routine maintenance.

Accountabilities

• Comply with all HSSE regulations, policies, standards, practices, and actively participate in improving plant safety culture.
• Operate tools and machinery for assigned work, including welding, rotating equipment, transfer systems, and handling chemical hazards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance such as pump rebuilds, piping repairs, filter changes, using laser and sheave alignment tools, etc.
• Use computer systems daily for data entry into maintenance management software.
• Read and interpret drawings, including plant layout, P&ID, and equipment diagrams.
• Understand piping systems and adhere to plant piping standards.
• Work in a lubricants manufacturing environment.
• Identify and implement equipment improvements to increase reliability.
• Communicate effectively with operations staff regarding issues and job completion, both verbally and in writing.

What We Need From You

• Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial mechanic or millwright experience, preferably in high-speed packaging.
• Possess one of the following in a mechanical craft discipline: Apprenticeship, Associate’s degree, Military Maintenance A School, or Trade School Certificate.
• Experience with high-speed packaging and rotating equipment, including fillers, cappers, de-palletizers, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulic equipment, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Ability to use hand tools, read drawings, take measurements, install/remove equipment, work off lifts, operate a forklift, welding skills are a plus.

Hours, Wage, and Shift

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts; overtime may be required.
• Rotation between shifts may occur.
• Wage is $35.73/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
