J&B Group is seeking an experienced Production Maintenance Lead to oversee maintenance operations at the St. Michael facility.

The role requires leadership, coordination, and a solid background in mechanical and facilities maintenance within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include delegating tasks, prioritizing work orders, and conducting training for new technicians while ensuring safety and GMP/HACCP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training for new technicians.
• Escalate equipment or technician concerns to supervisor.
• Perform routine preventive and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues; replace parts as needed.
• Work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor and align with JB Core Values.

Compensation:

• Starting hourly rate for this position is: $30.00 per hour
• Pay is based on job-related experience

• This position is at the St. Michael facility full time.

Essential Functions:

• Delegate tasks to appropriate technicians and ensures they're completed in a timely manner.
• Monitor to ensure all work orders are prioritized correctly and completed as assigned and in a reasonable time frame.
• Conduct and complete training for all new technicians.
• Escalate and/or addresses equipment or technician concerns under the guidance of supervisor/director.
• Perform routine preventative and unscheduled maintenance of production equipment, and complete related work orders and data entry tasks daily.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments on production equipment.
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor/director.

Physical and Environmental Factors:

• Includes activities such as but not limited to walking, lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, twisting and turning
• Requires ability to lift up to 30 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
• Requires ability to stand for the entirety of the shift (minus breaks/rest periods)
• Subject to temperatures ranging from 32 degrees to 50 degrees
