RTX’s Pratt & Whitney Middletown, CT facility seeks a Production Machinist for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 3:00 pm–12:00 am). Setup and operate machine tools to produce precision turbine engine parts; follow drawings and procedures; use milling, boring, grinding, turning, and other processes.

You will inspect parts with measuring tools, perform deburring and finishing, and maintain records in computerized systems. High School diploma or GED and 6 months machining experience required; 1–3 years preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 6 months of machining experience.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate one machine tool or process equipment type and operate more than one unrelated machine tool within an area to produce precision turbine engine parts.
• Perform bench, assembly and surface finishing operations such as deburring, blending, trimming and fitting using hand and power tools.
