Job summary

Remington is seeking a Manufacturing Production Associate 1 to perform preventative, routine, and minor maintenance on production and support machinery. You will handle changeovers, troubleshoot, set tooling, and collaborate with engineers to improve equipment and processes.

The role involves following safety rules, attending meetings, and mentoring operators to uphold best practices. High school diploma or GED is required, with a preference for 1+ year in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Must be able to read and comprehend process instructions.
• Basic computer skills preferred to navigate documents and records.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend shift, department and plant meetings in a timely manner.
• Perform changeovers on machines and assist with adjustments.
• Troubleshoot and perform light maintenance on malfunctioning machines.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance as scheduled or as needed.
• Set tooling and adjust machines to ensure proper operation.
• Follow oral and written instructions and safety rules.
• Assist engineers with troubleshooting equipment and processes.
• Mentor operators and technicians to promote best practices.
