Job summary

Remington is seeking an evening shift operator to tend one or more machines or processes as directed by the area supervisor. Ensure machines operate properly and call for technician or supervisor if required. Perform quality checks and move materials to ensure efficient flow.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read/write English, basic PC skills, and willingness to work in a safety-focused environment with protective gear. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to communicate with team members and supervision.
• Read and comprehend process instructions.
• Record pertinent process information as required.
• Basic personal computer skills to navigate menus and print documents.

Responsibilities

• Tends one or more machines or processes as directed by area supervisor.
• Operates and monitors equipment, loading raw materials and processing into finished goods.
• Keeps a clean and orderly work area and follows safety rules.
• Records process information and maintains documentation accurately.
• May handle hazardous waste as directed and wear required PPE.
