Job summary

Remington Arms is seeking a manufacturing associate to tend machines, transport materials, and perform quality checks in a safety-focused environment. You will follow written and oral instructions, wear protective equipment, and adhere to ISO goals and plant rules.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and basic computer skills, with English literacy to read instructions and communicate with teammates. Overtime may be required and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, G.E.D. certificate or recognized equivalent.
• Ability to speak, read and write in the English language sufficient enough to perform the following: Communicate effectively with other team members and supervision Read and comprehend process instructions Record pertinent process information as required
• Must possess basic personal computer skills sufficient enough to navigate menus and print documents.

Responsibilities

• Tends one or more machines or processes as directed by area supervisor and ensures proper operation.
• Transports raw material, semi-finished goods and finished goods to insure efficient process flow.
• Performs quality assurance checks as directed and maintains process records.
• Follows safety rules and uses protective equipment as required; participates in Hazardous Waste Management training.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and attends shift/department meetings.
