Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operating instructions.
• Must be able to work independently and maintain accuracy.
• Comfort with lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the plant manager with daily operations and upkeep of the plant.
• Maintain and operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Access all plant areas for maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Detect safety hazards and machinery malfunctions and respond accordingly.
• Assist operators to set up machines and meet deadlines for production.
• May be asked to perform other duties or assist other departments as needed.
• Ensure housekeeping is kept clean and orderly in the assigned area.
