United Gasket is hiring a Production Machine Operator for the 1st shift in Cicero, IL. Start rate is $15.50/hour with potential higher pay for experience. Training, benefits, and steady daytime work are provided.

Responsibilities include operating machines, loading and monitoring, inspecting finished parts, and ensuring quality. A high school diploma or GED is required, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required — training is available.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery to cut, slit, fabricate, and assemble rubber and other materials.
• Load materials into machines and monitor equipment during production.
• Check finished products for accuracy and quality.
• Measure, inspect, and package completed parts.
• Follow production orders, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Record production information and report equipment concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work with your team to meet daily production goals.
