United Gasket in Cicero, IL is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support warehouse, production, and shipping activities on a first shift. Starting pay is $15.50 per hour with potential for higher pay based on experience.

This is a full-time daytime role with steady hours. Responsibilities include moving and organizing materials, picking and packing orders, operating forklifts or related equipment, and ensuring accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions, count materials accurately, and stay organized.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but company-provided training is available.

Responsabilités

• Move, organize, and deliver materials throughout our warehouse and production areas.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipping.
• Load, unload, and stage materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Check shipments and materials for accuracy and quality.
• Help maintain inventory records and organized work areas.
• Work with production and shipping teams to keep operations moving.
