Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking an entry level Machine Operator to safely operate production machines, perform setup and cleanup, and drive process improvements to meet customer demand. The role focuses on training junior operators, maintaining high quality, and adhering to Pratt safety rules and GMPs.

You will collaborate with supervisors to reduce downtime and optimize productivity. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and may have 6 months of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months of manufacturing operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and safety rules.
• Ability to apply basic math for measurements and quantities.

Responsibilities

• Train, lead and develop entry level Machine Operators.
• Develop production teams and improve operations.
• Ensure safety and compliance with GMPs and Pratt safety rules.
• Operate and set up machines, monitor performance and quality.
• Identify and address mechanical concerns; report to supervisors.
• Maintain housekeeping and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Complete production, safety and quality reports accurately.
