Qualifications

• Prior packaging industry experience preferred.
• At least 6 months experience in manufacturing operations.
• Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Able to lift/move up to 50–60 pounds and work in a loud environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality and maximize equipment utilization by operating machinery at available capacity and speed.
• Train and assist First and Second Helpers with machine duties; cross-train on other machines.
• Complete reports such as Production Data, Machine status, Safety and Quality Data in a timely manner.
• Submit maintenance work orders and be proactive in equipment maintenance.
• Follow production schedule; suggest improvements to meet cost, quality and service goals.
