Express Employment Professionals in East Stroudsburg, PA is hiring for a production line helper on the 3:00 PM–11:45 PM shift. You will report to the line leader and prepare the line for each shift, ensuring materials are ready and accessible.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and collaboration in a fast-paced packaging environment; you will wrap pallets, maintain clean workstations, and support QC processes throughout the shift.

• Ensure all components are in the proper location.
• Place extra components behind current setup to keep lines supplied to prevent stoppage.
• Wrap and pull pallets with 2 tickets (production and QC) and placards to the staging area.
• Keep lines clean; break down corrugate and manage waste (trash in blue, plastic in white barrels).
• Assist with end-of-day cleanup and pallet transfer after QC approval and transfer ticket.

The employee will be responsible for the setup of lines for the start of the day. They are responsible for moving material using appropriate equipment and processes. Line suppliers are required to comply with departmental safety requirements, contribute to the quality improvement process and interface and communicate within the department. They should be entering the employee entrance, clocking in with their punch card and then reporting to the Production Board and waiting for someone to come and get them.

Essential Job Functions

Employee is required to be on the production line 15 minutes prior to shift startup. This time is to set up the production line so it is ready to run at the shift start time. At this time employee must communicate with their line leader and find which components and pallets should be utilized before setting up his/her lines.

Employee must assure that all components are set up in the proper location. These components range from the following: bottles, jars, tubes, brochures, discs, pumps, caps, snap caps, sleeves, fillers, displays, fishbowls and shippers. These are just some of the components you are required to supply and not all components are listed. These supplies must be readily available at all times and at the pace of the line.

Where space is available, you should setup extra components behind what you have already setup to assist with keeping line workers supplied at all times. It will be important to go around the whole line and constantly assure each work station has enough supplies to prevent a work stoppage.

You must wrap and pull pallets into the staging area thru out your shift. These pallets must have 2 tickets: 1 production and 1 QC tickets as well as any necessary placards before pulling into the staging area.

They will keep lines clean and free of all tripping hazards, make sure corrugate is broken down and palletized, and damaged corrugate is removed to the compactor and crushed. They will make sure all trash is placed in the blue trash barrels and all plastic in the white barrels.

At the end of the work day the line supplier will assist line workers in cleanup of the line, make sure all components are closed and returned to their proper pallets, and the last pallet is wrapped and removed to the finished goods staging. (This is after the proper QC approval sticker and transfer ticket is placed on the pallet.)
