Job summary

A. Duda & Sons, Inc. in Oxnard, CA, is seeking an experienced production line supervisor to coordinate daily activities of line personnel, ensure safety and quality, and meet production requirements.

You will train new hires, assess skills, and work with the supervisor to generate daily production reports while maintaining GMP compliance and food safety standards. This on-site role requires stamina and weekend/overtime flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates the daily activities of production line personnel
• Assists in managing work schedules, assignments, and production processes to meet production goals
• Partner with Supervisor on a daily basis to coordinate operations and activities within department and generate daily production reports
• Responsible for quality and quantity of production output by training new hires and skill assessment/development of existing employees
• Follows all GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements.
• Ensures that company policies and procedures are being followed in a consistent manner
• Ensures line personnel practice safe work habits and follow safety rules
• Reports Quality or Maintenance issues to the Production Supervisor.
• Must be able to stand in the work area (cold) for up to 10 hours with routine breaks and lunch periods
• Must be able to work weekends when required
• Must be able to work overtime when required
• Other duties as assigned including: getting moved to another group or work team orstart time
