Job summary

Silgan is seeking Production Line Operators in Richmond, Indiana to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will test video inspection equipment, inspect and weigh products, verify packing slips, and remove scrap while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Test and confirm video inspection equipment is operating properly.
• Inspect, weight and pack products and materials and check and verify packing slips.
• Inspect metal for shearing and coating voids and remove scrap and inferior quality materials.
• Notify proper persons of irregularities in the job.
• Unload floor container as required.
• Approve and disapprove finished product in accordance with quality specifications.
• Follow all Plant food safety procedures.
