Job summary

Prysmian Group is hiring a shift-based operator to input information into a Machine Center computer and verify accuracy. You will perform setups, changeovers, reel changes and material relocations as required, while following rigorous safety guidelines.

Shift: Monday through Friday 3 PM to 11 PM

Responsibilities:
  • Required to input information into a Machine Center computer and verify for accuracy.
  • Will be responsible for setups, changeovers, reel changes and material relocations as required.
  • Required to follow safety guidelines for themselves and their coworkers.
  • This will involve daily safety start up checks as well as safety checks throughout the shifts.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Solid, stable work history with previous industrial experience preferred.
  • Proficient in basic math, reading and comprehension of work instructions, and use of a computer.
  • Participate in safety/quality/production improvement activities.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment.
