Job summary

Reily Foods Company is seeking a dependable Line Operator to join our Knoxville manufacturing team. You will operate production packaging equipment, follow GMP and safety guidelines, track downtime in the Redzone system, and complete quality and production paperwork.

This role supports multiple shifts including 6:00am-4:30pm, 2:00pm-10:30pm, and 8:00pm-6:30am. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of machine operating/production experience, with strong communication and

Responsibilities

• Operate production packaging equipment according to GMPs and safety guidelines.
• Utilize Redzone to track downtime and complete quality paperwork.
• Perform changeovers for assigned equipment/production line.
• Maintain clean, sanitary workstation and assist with changeovers.
• Ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

We currently have Line Operator openings on multiple shifts. Overtime as needed to support our growing business needs.

1st Shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm

2nd Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm

3rd Shift: 8:00pm - 6:30am

Responsibilities

• Operate production packaging equipment efficiently according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), and food/employee safety requirements and guidelines to meet daily labor and waste goals
• Utilize Digital Production System (Redzone) to track downtime, perform quality compliance documents and communicate with support functions
• Complete changeovers for assigned equipment and/or production line
• Learn and maintain customer standards for product specifications and acceptable quality
• Read and follow instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specifications.
• Accurately complete all quality, traceability, and production paperwork
• Performs minor equipment adjustments to ensure equipment is operating optimally
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation and assists with product changeovers
• Ensure the operation is providing food-safe, quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of machine operating/production experience preferred
• Technical skills include the ability to start and stop equipment, complete a changeover, and operate one piece of equipment
• Interpersonal skills include good verbal and written communication, good time management skills and the ability to follow rules and directions
• Leadership skills include a positive attitude, being a team player and self-leadership
