Job summary

Reily Foods Company in Knoxville, TN is seeking Line Operators to join our full-time team across multiple shifts. The role requires safe operation of production equipment and timely, quality output.

As a Line Operator you will monitor GMPs, complete downtime and quality paperwork in the Redzone system, perform changeovers, and maintain a clean, food-safe workstation across shifts: 1st 6:00am–4:30pm; 2nd 2:00pm–10:30pm; 3rd 8:00pm–6:30am. Overtime may be required to meet demand.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of machine operating/production experience preferred.
• Ability to start/stop equipment and perform a changeover.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate production packaging equipment efficiently according to GMPs and safety requirements.
• Utilize Digital Production System (Redzone) to track downtime and complete quality documents.
• Complete changeovers for assigned equipment and/or production line.
• Learn and maintain customer standards for product specifications and acceptable quality.
• Read and follow instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specifications.
• Accurately complete all quality, traceability, and production paperwork.
• Performs minor equipment adjustments to ensure equipment is operating optimally.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and assist with product changeovers.
• Ensure the operation is providing food-safe, quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

We currently have Line Operator openings on multiple shifts. Overtime as needed to support our growing business needs.

1st Shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm

2nd Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm

3rd Shift: 8:00pm - 6:30am

As a Line Operator you are responsible for safely operating production equipment within the manufacturing facility and ensuring that quality products are produced timely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Operate production packaging equipment efficiently according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s),and food/employee safety requirements and guidelines to meet daily labor and waste goals
• Utilize Digital Production System (Redzone) to track downtime, perform quality compliance documents and communicate with support functions
• Complete changeovers for assigned equipment and/or production line
• Learn and maintain customer standards for product specifications and acceptable quality
• Read and follow instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specifications.
• Accurately complete all quality, traceability, and production paperwork
• Performs minor equipment adjustments to ensure equipment is operating optimally
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation and assists with product changeovers
• Ensure the operation is providing food-safe, quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirements

QualificationsJob Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of machine operating/production experience preferred
• Technical skills include the ability to start and stop equipment, complete a changeover, and operate one piece of equipment
• Interpersonal skills include good verbal and written communication, good time management skills and the ability to follow rules and directions
• Leadership skills include a positive attitude, being a team player and self-leadership
