Job summary

Reily Foods Company is hiring for Line Operator roles across multiple shifts in Knoxville, TN. You will operate production packaging equipment and ensure quality products are produced safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include using the Redzone system to log downtime, completing quality and traceability paperwork, and performing changeovers while maintaining a clean, sanitary workstation. Overtime may be required to support business needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of machine operating/production experience preferred.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow GMPs and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate production packaging equipment safely according to GMP and safety guidelines.
• Utilize Redzone to track downtime, complete quality paperwork, and communicate with support functions.
• Perform changeovers and minor equipment adjustments to keep lines running efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Follow daily instructions and complete paperwork for quality, traceability, and production.

Overtime as needed to support our growing business needs.1st Shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm2nd Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm3rd Shift: 8:00pm - 6:30amAs a Line Operator you are responsible for safely operating production equipment within the manufacturing facility and ensuring that quality products are produced timely and efficiently.Responsibilities:Operate production packaging equipment efficiently according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and food/employee safety requirements and guidelines to meet daily labor and waste goalsUtilize Digital Production System (Redzone) to track downtime, perform quality compliance documents and communicate with support functionsComplete changeovers for assigned equipment and/or production lineLearn and maintain customer standards for product specifications and acceptable qualityRead and follow instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specifications.Accurately complete all quality, traceability, and production paperworkPerforms minor equipment adjustments to ensure equipment is operating optimallyMaintains a clean and sanitary workstation and assists with product changeoversEnsure the operation is providing food-safe, quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirementsOther duties as assignedJob Qualifications:High school diploma or GED2+ years of machine operating/production experience preferredTechnical skills include the ability to start and stop equipment, complete a changeover, and operate one piece of equipmentInterpersonal skills include good verbal and written communication, good time management skills and the ability to follow rules and directionsLeadership skills include a positive attitude, being a team player and self-leadership
