Shift: 1st and 2nd Shift – 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Pay Type: Hourly

Employee Type: Full-time (with overtime)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team in Corsicana, TX. The Equipment Operator will ensure that production requirements are met while maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant operation. This front-line role involves responding to unplanned events to support the reliable and efficient functioning of the facility. The position requires critical thinking to solve problems and the ability to train new operators. The Equipment Operator will work either the 1st or 2nd shift and may include overtime and some weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate and maintain machinery, equipment, and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Perform general cleaning within the assigned department, including wiping down, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting.
3. Set up equipment and monitor processes and activities on the production line.
4. Ensure products meet specifications according to company standards.
5. Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed.
6. Assist, train, and monitor other employees as directed by the supervisor.
7. Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to learn company-specific computer programs.

Additional Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience operating machinery.
• Ability to read and understand rulers, tapes, scales, and thermometers.
• Prior food manufacturing experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Work Environment:

• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and squat for 8 to 12 hours a day.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to wear all necessary safety equipment.
• Willingness to work on the manufacturing production floor.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
• Ability to climb stairs and/or ladders.
