What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Serve as a central link of communication between the employer, patients, medical staff, and the general public
  • Answer calls in a high call volume environment within a 24/7 department
  • Respond to information and messaging requests for multiple hospitals and healthcare practitioners
  • Make appropriate decisions and problem-solve to address messaging of providers related to patient care
  • Deliver excellent customer service while managing difficult and emotional situations
What Is Required (Qualifications)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of three years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, such as a call center, physician's office, hospitality, or retail/service industry
  • Strong keyboarding and computer skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and remain calm under stress
  • Demonstrated empathy and positive communication skills
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Call center experience preferred
