Job summary

Jabil in Devens, MA is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee production processes and support priorities in a cost-effective manner. This on-site role operates a rotating 12-hour shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am) and focuses on meeting production targets while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating with procurement and maintenance, reviewing performance metrics, and driving improvements to reduce defects and waste.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Plastics or related discipline preferred.
• At least three years experience in maintenance management or a combination of education/experience.
• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable business goals and improve targets.
• Proven track record of change management, productivity and cost-reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Confers with management to establish production and quality control standards.
• Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance and QC for optimum utilization of resources.
• Reviews reports to determine causes of nonconformity and operations problems with supervisors.
• Minimizes scrap and ensures proper stocking of operation supplies and equipment.
• Monitors SPC system, documents data, and seeks continuous improvement of metrics.
