Job summary

Nature’s Bakery is seeking a Production Lead for 1st Shift (6:00am–6:30pm on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule). Under the Shift Manager, you will train and mentor operators, drive the daily production plan and the 90‑day plan, and step in as Shift Manager to keep operations running smoothly.

You will lead the team, uphold quality and safety standards, optimize labor and material flow, use the ERP system for inventory tracking, and promote lean practices across the shift.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in manufacturing environments with coaching and feedback.
• Knowledge of GMP, OSHA and safety protocols for quality control.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities for equipment issues.
• Experience planning and managing labor, materials and schedules.
• Experience using ERP systems for inventory and work orders.
• Strong problem-solving and clear communication within teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide Leadership on your shift– oversee performance and safety of personnel.
• Maintain Quality and Safety Standards– audits and inspections with corrective actions.
• Optimize Production Efficiency– plan labor, materials and schedules to improve line efficiency.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement– daily meetings and KPIs.
• Support your Team– may relieve operators as needed.
