Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation seeks a Production Line Leader to supervise a team of packers and loaders and to support the Production Manager in daily line operations.

You will oversee the line to meet quality and safety standards, verify that products are produced and packaged to specifications, assist with training new production staff, troubleshoot issues quickly to keep the line moving, review finished work, and communicate line status to the Production Manager.

Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Production Line Leader will work under the supervision of the Production Manager assisting with production line needs. In addition, the Production Line Leader will oversee a group of production packers and loaders on the production line.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee production line to ensure standards are met
• Verify that products are being produced and packaged in accordance to specifications
• Assist with training new production employees
• Quickly troubleshoot issues and keep production line moving efficiently
• Review, check and sign off on work completed by production employees
• Communicate with Production Manager on any line issues
• Other duties as assigned
