Job summary

CapstoneONE Search is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement. You will guide hourly staff and supervisors, optimize production flow, and foster a positive, engaged work environment.

The role emphasizes coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and quality teams to sustain high levels of output and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred).
• Experience in metal manufacturing, foundry, casting, or similar industrial operation (preferred).
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills (preferred).
• Experience driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production employees and supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, overtime, attendance, and daily work assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees to improve performance, engagement, and productivity.
• Conduct performance evaluations and address employee relations matters as needed.
• Promote a strong safety culture through training, audits, inspections, and compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• Monitor production performance and resolve operational, quality, and maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and management teams to improve processes and efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost reduction, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and labor agreements where applicable.
• Participate in investigations and implement corrective actions to address production or quality concerns.
