Job summary

CapstoneONE Search is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance, reliability, and safety at a close-knit facility. This role blends floor presence with managerial responsibility, driving safety, SOPs, training, and CMMS discipline.

You will coach contractors and staff, develop preventive and predictive maintenance, plan labor and parts, diagnose issues, and own plant safety programs, while partnering with Quality and Operations to reduce downtime and equipment-related quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Strong CMMS and data discipline.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment, lubrication, and vibration fundamentals.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, or on-call.

Responsibilities

• Directly leads maintenance employees and contractors, including coaching, performance reviews, hiring, and accountability.
• Develops and executes preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and unplanned repairs.
• Plans and schedules labor, spare parts, and tooling around production priorities.
• Diagnoses equipment failures, leads root cause analysis, and implements permanent corrective actions.
• Plans and safely executes plant shutdowns and manages contractor activity.
• Owns plant safety programs, training, incident investigations, and OSHA/LOTO compliance.
• Creates and maintains maintenance SOPs and standards.
• Partners with Quality and Operations to eliminate equipment‑related quality issues.
• Tracks and reports KPIs: uptime, MTBF, MTTR, first‑time fix rate, PM/PdM completion, and on‑time work orders.
• Jumps in on hands‑on repairs as needed and serves as acting plant leader when designated.
