Job summary

Dessert Holdings seeks a Production and Continuous Improvement Manager to lead day-to-day operations at the Pembroke, NC facility, ensuring safe, compliant, and on-time production. You will drive process improvements, coach frontline leaders, and partner with QA, HR, R&D to meet both site and enterprise goals.

The role emphasizes TPM, Lean initiatives, and data-driven decision making to optimize safety, quality, and cost while delivering the production schedule and supporting growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership with frontline teams.
• Experience in food/beverage regulated manufacturing preferred.
• Proven track record in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations with safety, food safety, quality, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive operational excellence through planning, performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Own manufacturing metrics including safety, quality, productivity, yield, waste, downtime, labor efficiency, and cost.
• Develop and lead production managers, supervisors, and frontline teams through coaching and performance management.
• Partner cross-functionally with QA, Food Safety, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Warehouse, HR, and Finance to support goals.
• Lead problem-solving to identify root causes, eliminate losses, and implement corrective actions.
• Support TPM, M.O.S. and Continuous Improvement programs to improve reliability and OEE.
• Ensure documentation and audit readiness for production, quality, sanitation, and training.
• Contribute to site leadership planning, capital projects, and new product launches.
