Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Production and Continuous Improvement Manager for the Pembroke, NC facility. The role leads daily production with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery while advancing TPM and CI initiatives across the site.

You will develop frontline leaders, manage labor planning, and partner with QA, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, HR, and Finance to deliver site and enterprise goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, Supply Chain, Food Science, or related field; equivalent experience considered
• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership with frontline teams
• Experience in food/beverage or regulated manufacturing environments preferred
• Proven track record of improving safety, quality, productivity, service, and cost
• Strong knowledge of production management, workforce planning, and maintenance coordination

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations with focus on safety, quality, sanitation, and regulatory compliance (GMPs).
• Drive operational excellence via labor management, planning, and performance tracking.
• Own key metrics: safety, quality, productivity, yield, waste, downtime, labor efficiency, cost.
• Develop and coach production managers, supervisors, and frontline teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, Food Safety, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, HR, and Finance.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions to eliminate losses.
• Support TPM, Manufacturing Operating System, and CI programs to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure accurate documentation for production, quality, sanitation, and audits.
• Contribute to site leadership planning, capital projects, launches, and growth initiatives.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning across the organization.
• Drive sustainable improvements through standardized processes and data-driven decisions.
