Job summary

Pregis, a global leader in innovative packaging solutions, seeks a Production Manager for its Conover, NC facility. You will provide leadership for a 24/7 operation, driving safety, quality, and productivity while developing a team of supervisors and 60–70 production employees.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, Lean principles, and continuous improvement to deliver on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Strong communication and Excel/SAP skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; an engineering degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience leading supervisors and manufacturing teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong understanding of operational metrics, continuous improvement, and manufacturing best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Champion a world-class safety culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze KPIs including uptime, throughput, downtime, quality, and labor utilization to identify opportunities.
• Develop and execute corrective actions to improve performance and reduce waste.
• Partner cross-functionally with Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Engineering, and other departments.
