Job summary

Thermon is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced, onsite environment in San Marcos, TX. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets while developing and coaching a team of production staff.

The role requires 5+ years of supervisory experience, strong leadership, and knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to advance continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field).
• 5 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving performance.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and metrics.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, or overtime as needed.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with ERP or production management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production activities to meet schedules, quality standards, and efficiency targets.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team; manage performance and employee engagement.
• Promote a positive, safety-first culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams (engineering, maintenance, quality).
• Ensure products meet quality specifications and support issue investigations.
