Job summary

Thermon Industries, Inc. in San Marcos, TX is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations on-site at 100 Thermon Dr. The role reports to the Manager, Production and requires strong people leadership, safety focus, and drive for continuous improvement.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, on-site, with potential for varied shifts based on production needs. The Supervisor will oversee production activities, manage staffing, monitor metrics (throughput, downtime, OEE),

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field)
• 5 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment
• Demonstrated experience managing teams and driving performance
• Strong knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and operational metrics
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, or overtime as needed
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with ERP or production management systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure schedules, quality standards, and efficiency targets are achieved
• Coordinate workflow, staffing, and resources to meet production demands in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Monitor production performance metrics (e.g., throughput, downtime, scrap, OEE) and implement corrective actions
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing best practices
