Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Production Supervisor in Michigan to lead an hourly team, ensuring safety and high-quality output on rotating shifts. This role drives operational excellence by using data-driven insights to improve efficiency and product quality.

You will champion safety, develop teams, and coordinate with cross-functional partners to meet production targets while supporting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3–7+ years of supervisory, manufacturing, military, or related experience.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma and/or Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead an hourly team to meet production targets and deliver high-quality products.
• Champion workplace safety and enforce regulations to maintain a vigilant culture.
• Identify problems, allocate resources, and drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Leverage data to reduce downtime and defects and communicate findings to leadership.
• Foster servant leadership and develop high-performing teams across shifts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to sustain lean processes and quality standards.
