Job summary

Chemours is seeking a Production Leader at Washington Works in West Virginia to drive safe, efficient manufacturing across product lines. You will coordinate with maintenance, supply chain, and operations leadership to meet production targets while upholding safety and environmental standards.

With an engineering degree or equivalent experience, you will schedule assets in SAP, manage raw materials, and guide teams toward continuous improvement using best practices such as Lean and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• 3+ years in industrial/manufacturing environment or 7+ years operations experience with supervisory duties.
• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and written communication.
• Experience with SAP and cost management in manufacturing.
• Safety procedures and corporate safety philosophy understanding.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and environmentally sound operation & maintenance of a high hazard process.
• Act as main Operations interface with commercial and supply chain to align production priorities.
• Provide direction to maintenance/technical teams and support growth capital requirements.
• Meet Total Cost of Manufacture objectives (fixed and variable).
• Create optimized asset schedules using SAP considering production, maintenance, and service needs.
• Oversee end-to-end production: material planning, scheduling, sampling, release, and shipment priorities.
• Coordinate with maintenance and contractors for site work.
