Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Production Leader for the Washington Works Operations in Washington, WV. You will lead by influence to align production with business priorities, while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across multiple product lines.

Responsibilities include managing production schedules, coordinating with maintenance and supply chain, and driving cost management targets using SAP and WMP. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment OR minimum 7 years operations experience including prior supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to work with a diverse population of employees and contractors.
• Experience with SAP/R3 module in finance/cost management and Work Management Process (WMP).
• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, oral, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and environmentally sound operation & maintenance of a high hazard process.
• Act as main Operations interface and point of contact with commercial and supply chain for coordination of production.
• Provide direction to the maintenance/technical teams in support of the business and serve as the point of contact for new growth capital requirements.
• Accountable for meeting Total Cost of Manufacture objectives (fixed and variable).
• Create an optimized asset schedule using SAP that considers production, maintenance, and service-to-operations needs.
• Manage production beginning to end: raw material planning, production schedule adjustments, and shipment readiness.
