Job summary

Allied Air Enterprises, a division of Lennox International, seeks a Production Manager for Assembly Operations to develop and execute manufacturing strategies ensuring products meet customer demand. The role reports to the Assembly Operations Leader and collaborates with multiple departments to achieve key KPIs.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or business and have 5–10 years of progressive production management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business or related major is required.
• 5-10 years of proven experience in operations or production management in fast-paced environments.
• Direct HVAC, Lean Manufacturing and Six-Sigma experience is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; proven planning and project management abilities.
• Solid knowledge of Lean production management and quality integration concepts; change implementation track record.
• Proficient with PC software including Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify and remove barriers to meeting daily production requirements.
• Develop long-term strategy to improve quality and safety results.
• Develop front-line leadership (supervisors and group leaders) to drive for results and lead their teams.
• Identify and drive engagement strategies to increase employee retention.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost overall success.
• Align Manufacturing with Quality Assurance objectives and Lean-Sigma initiatives; collaborate cross-functionally.
• Participate in cross-functional strategy implementation and other tasks as directed.
