Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations at our CVG200 402 facility. You will lead a diverse team, manage schedules, enforce quality and safety standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

You will mentor staff, monitor processes, and partner with quality, engineering, and maintenance to optimize flow. The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing with supervisory experience and strong leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality control systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate, train, and develop a diverse team.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production schedules and assign tasks to production team members.
• Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
• Train and mentor production staff on new procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and waste.
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, scrap rates, and labor hours.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control, engineering, and maintenance, to optimize production flow.
• Conduct performance reviews for team members and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment in compliance with 5S principles.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and attendance.
