Job summary

Kato Cable LLC in Minnesota seeks a Production Supervisor to lead our production team in delivering high-quality wire harnesses and cable assemblies. You will supervise daily production activities, coach staff, monitor quality, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the operation to meet customer specifications.

The role requires hands-on leadership, effective communication, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and respond quickly to in-process

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a wire or cable assembly manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of UL and IPC standards.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to quality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production staff on a day-to-day basis.
• Outline daily tasks to ensure efficiency and quality of finished product.
• Train employees on correct procedures and complete training log.
• Ensure adherence to company rules, ISO policies, and safety standards.
• Review and implement ECOs and new product designs as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas; uphold housekeeping standards.
• Demonstrate teamwork, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.
