Job summary

Pacific Seafood in Westport is seeking a Production Lead to oversee an efficient production team, develop schedules, plan duties, and ensure product quality. This role suits someone organized, meticulous, and a strong communicator who can coordinate with the team to meet deadlines.

You will monitor performance, manage inventory, and ensure HACCP/SSOP compliance, with responsibilities across operations, quality, admin records, and safety in a high-activity facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Specific vision abilities, including close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate team member duties.
• Provide team member training.
• Ensure production deadlines and requirements are met.
• Monitor team member performance, grade, size, and maintain product specs.
• Regularly verify product quality and assist with inventory tracking (APC).
• Keep records of production and purchase factory supplies where applicable.
• Maintain legible and accurate records or logs as required.
• Carry out HACCP and SSOP requirements; ensure hygiene and safety procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of the production area.
