Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a Production Lead to coordinate and monitor activities in the production line. You will oversee training, quality, productivity and sanitation in your area, ensuring safe operation of machinery and proper PPE use.

Responsibilities include supervising employees in the assigned production area, communicating issues to Supervisors and FSQA, and maintaining production records while meeting safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in food manufacturing or seafood industry.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• May operate Forklift occasionally.
• Knowledge of production processes, food safety and quality controls.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong Time Management skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively give direction or share information.

Responsibilities

• Monitors one section of production and oversees training, quality, work quality, productivity and sanitation in their area.
• Oversee the work and performance of the employees in assigned production area.
• Ensures proper use of protective gear, safe operation of machinery, and safe use of chemical cleaning agents.
• Trains workers in equipment operation and in processing and safety procedures.
• Communicates with Supervisors, FSQA and other Lead personnel any problems or concerns.
• Maintains product records.
• Performs activities of workers supervised.
