Job summary

Pacific Seafood in Westport is seeking a Production Lead to support the Production team. This role develops team member schedules, plans duties, and ensures product quality, with emphasis on organization and clear communication.

Responsibilities cover operations management, quality and supply chain tasks, record keeping, and health and safety, including HACCP/SSOP compliance. Required: High School Diploma or GED and one year of related experience; bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience or equivalent.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Specific vision abilities needed (close vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus).
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate team member duties.
• Provide team member training.
• Ensure production deadlines and requirements are met.
• Monitor team member performance; maintain product specifications; verify quality; assist with inventory tracking (APC).
• Keep records of production; maintain logs; price and purchase supplies if applicable.
• Carry out HACCP and SSOP requirements; enforce hygiene and safety; conduct safety inspections.

Skills
