Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing in Montgomery, AL, seeks a Working Leader IV/Scheduler to coordinate production tasks for the Water Heater Division. You will serve as the liaison between hourly employees and the work center facilitator, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time output.

Key responsibilities include assigning work, monitoring progress, providing instruction per ISO standards, and supporting cost control and tool maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a manufacturing/warehousing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign work to individuals or teams under supervision to improve productivity and quality.
• Monitor progress, check work, and ensure adherence to instructions and deadlines.
• Report progress and training needs to supervisor and coordinate with teams.
• Provide training per ISO standards and interpret specifications/drawings for hourly staff.
• Assist in cost control and maintenance of tools and equipment; follow 6S safety rules.
• Coordinate lean initiatives and build consensus among team members.
• Prepare reports on accomplishments and communicate work-related information to supervisor.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
