Job summary

Foremost Farms is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead production floor teams, supervise associates, and drive engagement to balance quality, service and efficiency. The role emphasizes safety, GMP compliance, and accurate paperwork, with weekend and on-call flexibility.

The ideal candidate will oversee multiple shifts, mentor staff, and participate in safety investigations and root-cause analyses, while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor production associates including delegation of work assignments, prioritization of duties, and scheduling employees.
• Evaluate processes and methods to continuously improve methods, equipment performance, utilization of people, and quality of product and safety objectives.
• Address and resolve inquiries and problems regarding production, quality, and work issues.
• Ensure quality standards and procedures are maintained via GMPs, environmental sanitation, food safety, and housekeeping.
• Oversee completion of production paperwork (records, inventory, sanitation reports, processing charts).
• Coordinate shift activities between shifts for smooth transitions.
• Manage environmental sanitation programs and assist with regulatory inspections and customer audits.
• Review practices and processes and suggest improvements.
• Liaise with stakeholders to support goals and plans across functions.
• Coordinate plant-wide functions such as production planning, sanitation, and safety.

Education

High school diploma/GED
