Job summary

Foremost Farms USA is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and mentor production floor employees, ensuring an optimal balance of quality, service and efficiency to provide operational excellence.

You will oversee shift activities, manage training, QA standards, and safety programs; coordinate sanitation, audits, and production planning while supporting a constructive, high-performance culture. Must be available for weekends/holidays and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• 1 year of job-related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or related field.
• 3 years of job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor production associates including delegation of work assignments, prioritization of duties, and scheduling employees.
• Evaluate processes and methods to continuously improve methods, equipment performance, utilization of people, and quality.
• Address and resolve inquiries and problems regarding production, quality, and work issues.
• Ensure quality standards and procedures are maintained by implementing GMPs, sanitation, food safety, and housekeeping.
• Oversee production paperwork and records (inventory, sanitation reports, processing charts).
• Participate in safety meetings, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Schedule and document training of new and present employees, and manage overtime per the collective bargaining agreement.
• Coordinate shifts, sanitation programs, regulatory inspections, and customer audits.
• Review practices, suggest improvements, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure cross-functional alignment.
• Coordinate plant-wide functions such as production planning and scheduling.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or related field
