Job summary

IQ Resource Group in Redgranite, WI is seeking a Production Lead to oversee daily production, coordinate materials, train team members, and ensure on-time shipping. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience in manufacturing with basic measurement tools. Forklift training is provided after hire.

Shift is 1st, 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with OT potential. Wage is $17/hr, with responsibilities including quality checks and paperwork entry as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 30 lbs consistently and up to 50 lbs.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail.
• Experience with calipers is helpful but trainable.
• Able to perform basic math, work in a fast-paced environment, and direct team members.
• Able to type 25 words per minute and use Microsoft Word.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Plant Manager with day-to-day production, ensure materials are ready, prepare labels, pull items for shipment, train team members, and perform quality checks.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications.
• Use calipers and tape measures and perform visual checks.
• Address quality issues, troubleshoot, and recommend actions to reduce nonconformance.
• Will be trained to operate a forklift upon hire.
• Help prepare paperwork and enter/pull information in the computer.
• Current production team consists of 6 team members.
